Duties/Responsibilities:  To work with the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor to oversee the total ministry of the congregation in its nurturing ministries and in fulfilling its mission of witness and service in the world.

     Ministerial Areas:

1. Worship Leadership: preaching, liturgical planning, incorporation of visual arts and multi-media in worship

2. Communication: extensive Communications and Visioning leadership, publications, web design, signage

Education and Background:  Rev. Miller comes to Huntsville First United Methodist Church most recently from Yale Divinity School where she completed her Masters of Divinity degree in May 2009.  Wren was born and raised in Talladega, AL and grew up at Talladega First United Methodist Church.  Wren graduated from the Alabama School of Math and Science in May 2002 where she concentrated in Physics and Ornithology.  Upon highschool graduation she attended Huntingdon College where she majored in Psychology.  Huntingdon is a United Methodist Secondary Education Institution located in Montgomery, AL.  While at Huntingdon Wren served as an ambassador of the college  and spent her extracurriculer time studying liturgical dance and worked as a photographer for Belles and Pomegranates- the college annual.  While at Yale Wren studied as an exchange student at Westcott House, Cambridge University and explored the depths of Wesleyan Methodism and the Anglican Communion.
